I will be attending the workshop Teaching and Learning Economics in Palo Alto, CA, May 30 - June 1, 2011.
Goals
•Learn how academic disciplines are supporting community college instructors and use this information to initiate new projects across disciplines
•Describe and evaluate innovative workshops for discipline-based faculty development related to teaching at community colleges
•Develop plans for regional workshops to support economics instruction in the project's second year
